What a find. Needed something quick in the heart of many restaurants, but didn’t want table service. Lemongrass chicken salad was awesome. No frills, great quality food and reasonable price (for Boston).
I had high hopes for this place but honestly, it's not worth it. The bread was lacking, their meat was old and bland, and they skimped on the toppings. And to top it all off, the prices are ridiculous for the portions and quality you're getting. If you want a good Southeast Asian sandwhich, walk a minute down the street to Bon Me in Boston Public Market.
It's pretty rare for me to find a Cambodian sandwich shop. When I walked by here, I knew I had to stop and get one. It's a smaller shop with some standing space to enjoy your meal. I ordered the Krueng Beef Curry sandwich and was blown away with the flavors of the meat. It reminded me of eating home cooked meals. I liked that the bread was toasted, so you get that crunch with every bite. The owner was super friendly and conversed with us when he had a large order to prepare. I'm glad that I got a chance to visit this shop.
Rolls were fresh, warm and crunchy. Tasty Lemongrass Chicken Sandwich. Service was great and friendly. Can't wait try again.
Food was delicious!!! 10/10
Highly recommend! The Kroeung Beef Curry Cambodian Sandwich was very good, and the portion size was substantial with a generous amount of meat and veggies
