Awful service. Coffee was disappointing

오랜만에 와 봤다.뉴욕 한인타운에서 멀지 않은 곳에 위치한 곳으로, 다른 stumptown coffee와는 다르게 ace hotel과 로비를 공유, 공생하는 관계로 유명한 이곳(검색시 ace hotel을 쳐야 함),,,맨해튼 산책하다가 피곤하면 여기서 커피 주문해서 Ace hotel lobby 소파에 앉아 웹서핑 하다가 재충전 되면 나가곤 했는데… 항상 그렇듯이 원주 기둥을 제외한 다른 부분 약간의 인테리어를 다시 했고, 손님들 대부분이 필수템 맥북을 들고 뭔가 작업 하고 있는건 변하지 않는 이곳만의 트렌드 인 듯. 맥북, 약간 어두침침한 조명의 그리스 신전에나 있을법한 원주기둥이 이곳의 트레이드 마크인 듯 ㅎㅎ

I see a few comments saying the cashier was rude. I can kinda see why, but then again this is Manhattan...not Los Angeles. The general attitude here is "This cashier/customer exchange is a transaction and nothing more. Let me hurry and give you your order so YOU can go about your busy day and so can I, instead of just sitting idle trying to play nice." You also have to consider that these guys deal with so many actual rude NYers on a daily basis that they've grown a bit of a shell, to where they have no inclination to try and make you feel special...at all lol. People in Manhattan are known to act kind, not "nice." There’s just no time for it. It comes with being the most dense part of the densest city in America. I'm new to NYC so I am still adjusting to this too but it’s definitely not personal. Anywho...coffee is fantastic, some of the best I've had anywhere. My blueberry muffin was also great. I support these hardworking hipsters!

This place is amazing! They have oat milk as a default which I love, and the workers here are the absolute best! I have tried many coffee places in the city, and this one is one of the top 3 in my opinion.

I have such mixed experiences visiting this shop. I’ve had wonderful experiences with most of the baristas here. The girl with dark hair is very nice and the guy who has the tattoos is also very nice. The coffee is always great. But today I had a very bad experience (1/30/24). The girl with the short brown hair and glasses and the girl with pinkish hair are both so incredibly rude. Every time I go in and they are working I feel so uncomfortable. They’re very rude, their tone is inhospitable, and they look at you like you shouldn’t be there. Why work in customer service if you dislike people so much? From now on, I will see who is working before visiting stumptown because after multiple bad experiences with these two baristas I no longer wish to go inside if I know I am going to be treated poorly as a paying customer. Someone should really talk with these two ladies about their customer service skills, because they’re not doing the shop any favors with having such rude people working for you.

One of the better coffee shops in the city. Not a lot of space to sit, though. There is a long counter bar at the window, but that’s about it. One can take his cup and walk right into the lobby of the Ace hotel next door a and in some hours that's not even frowned upon.

Horrible service. The main guy working at the cashier needs to fix his attitude. I don’t know his name but he has tattoos on his arm and across his neck. Don’t know how this place has good reviews. He needs to be fired.
