Coleslaw/ spinach/ ribs Fried okra/ brisket/ green collards
Great food and amazing service!! Would definitely go back on my next visit to Austin.
Banging better than the glass jars at the grocery store to eat it fresh fresh lovely environment just try it your self Kid-friendliness: Yes
Biggest disappointment in Austin. After food, cocktails, and tip I walked out having paid $100 for cold/bland food. In particular I had the pulled pork sandwich. The only flavor that it had came from the BBQ sauce (which I added myself at the table). The macaroni and cheese had good texture but was also flavorless. The fried okra was hard as a rock. I added salt and pepper to everything just to feel something. My spouse ordered the traditional BBQ plate which came with untoasted Texas Toast. That sad little slice of white bread totally encapsulated the quality of the rest of the plate. To top it all off, the chairs could not have been more uncomfortable.
Great place to play music and eat !
This was a great venue with live music and smokey bbq. My favorite was the brisket and Mac n cheese. It's easy to see why there was a line and that they know what they are doing here!
Had been on my list for quite some while. Finally made it out here. Loved it! Great food & service! I got a chopped beef sandwich with some tasty onion rings & ranch. The bun was fresh, the chopped beef was tasty! Loved it, we were fortunate to get a great & attentive waitress that was happy to serve us & wanted us there. Had to pay for parking, but for $2, no biggie. Would love to come back & stay longer next time as we were driving through.
