Food is always on point, lots to choose from!
When a person orders food from a restaurant a level of trust is had by the customer that the meals will be made properly and enjoyed. That level of trust was broken tonight.I’ve seen better quality control at a Love’s Travel Center. It’s a shame that a local restaurant that legitimate locals like to go to has slid itself into being a mediocre example of one of “Asheville’s best”. If you’re looking for consistent service and food you’ll get it but not in the way you want. Have consistently had orders not prepared properly or orders taken incorrectly. Overpriced for the quality and any additions or substitutions are priced too high for the food cost and labor it takes to make the dish. I’ve had better food from drop out culinary students and deadheads on lot, for way less. If you want a good meal I’d just go down the road into Weaverville proper to get your money’s worth.
We have eaten here several times and over the last few months the service has gone down hill. I don't know if they have changed management or what but I will never be returning there after my experience tonight. We ordered our usual pork lettuce wraps and asked for extra meat which they normally charge us $4 dollars for. However tonight they charged us $8. Which would have been fine if they would have actually given us extra meat. They did not. Drove all the way back to get the order fixed and no one was apologetic nor did they remake the order correctly. Iv managed a restaurant for 5 years, this is just unacceptable to treat people like this and expect return customers. From a local this place is going down hill. Not worth the money anymore.
Funky little place with eclectic decor, friendly staff and great food!
The music and acoustics make it difficult to carry on a conversation. The food is good, but not outstanding. It's a great place for a unique, casual dining atmosphere. It is a favorite spot for many local patrons. Parking: Parking is tight.
