Best new wine bar/ small plate restaurant in la!!

Best meal we had in LA! Visiting from New Mexico and my wife and I enjoyed every bite of food and sip of wine from start to finish. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and each wine we tasted was unique and delicious. Inside of the restaurant is beautifully put together. Can’t wait to return! Excellent job Stir Crazy!!!

The staff was very cold and exuded generally weird energy towards us. The service was also very slow. Sitting outside on a car-busy melrose st is terrible in general but more so when you’re on a date. Your conversations are constantly interrupted with cars speeding, peeling off, honking etc. Wine list was also weird. They served my red wine in a 3oz glass when the menu didn’t specify that. My dates wine was incredibly sweet - they did warn us but it wasn’t drinkable (this was specified as 3oz pour). I wanted to talk to staff but they didn’t come back for 30 mins after serving so just drank anyway. Food was average. Would not return.

Beautiful dining experience! Lovely service, delicious food, wonderful wines. Highly recommend a visit. The brown butter striped bass crudo, the Romano beans, the escabeche, the sausage, the strawberry dessert, and the espresso dessert were all so so good. Look forward to going back.
