This is for the tavern only. Good food, good beer selection and drinks. But what is up with karaoke on the Saturday night before xmas? Strange choice.
Really nice. Spacious room, and bathroom, and nicely decorated. Cool bar. We ate dinner here both nights, and the food was quite good. Breakfast is minimalist, but there are two breakfast places w/in a couple blocks: one diner-style place for pancakes and the like, the other a more hipster cafe for avocado toast or breakfast burritos (recommended). Unfortunately, we were here the weekend after the ferry stopped running for the season; that would have been neat. Would stay here again.
Only tried their restaurant and wow it was good. We had oysters and then the fish and chips and pasta. Everything was excellent. +1 for the Parmesan truffle fries Very romantic setting also.
Wow. Absolutely amazing. We ordered a bottle of wine tonight, loved it so much and drank every drop, then the bartender offered us another glass. I'm obsessed!
Small town. Friendly atmosphere in town. Have to drive to see anything. Perfect spot for a laid back weekend. No view and rooms are walkup. Rooms: Nice enough. Not luxury but comfortable.
My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend to attend a wedding nearby. The contactless check in was perfect for our late arrival. Audrey was kind enough to upgrade us to a more romantic room upon request when there was availability. The building is absolutely stunning and has been meticulously renovated. Small details like a bath bomb placed next to the in room soaking tub, breakfast nook with windows eating , and gorgeous linens made for a luxurious stay. Portions at the in-house restaurant were generous and freshly prepared. It is definitely pricey, but well worth the splurge for a quick get away.
