So, I am torn about this restaurant. It is an upscale restaurant with very nice ambiance and decent service. Waitress was very good as well. Decently quick service. Good bar. Good drink and wine list. We had 2 dinners, the Scallop special which came with 2 very large scallops and one slightly smaller. To me they were just slightly undercooked but very tasty. Well seasoned, great sauce. I had the 8oz steak dinner with fries. Fries were good but nothing special. Sauce was basic. The real challenge here was I specifically asked for the steak to be Pittsburgh rare- very rare. It came out medium rare and I should have sent it back but just chose not to, so my bad. But a restaurant of this caliber should not have even sent it out of the kitchen. I did let the waitress know and she said kind of offhand that she would let the kitchen know. It was Edible but not enjoyable. I am not saying we would not go back but we have no plans to rush back. Cheers!!
My husband and I ate lunch there and it was wonderful! Shrimp Po'Boy and smashed wagu burger.
The food was great and the speciality cocktails are highly recommended
Beautiful service! The food was fantastic, staff was knowledgeable and professional. Some of the best Salmon I've ever had. 10/10
Amazing evening, amazing food, amazing staff Our waiter offered a suggestion for a different wine and tasting... we went with his suggestion! Steak and Salmon entrees with a carrot cake crème brûlée that was for a lack of a better phrase -stupid good! Standing ovation to Stella's pastry chef! Stella makes their own tonic in house for a great selection of gin and tonics.
I had a fantastic time on a triple date at Stella's! Several friends in our group have various allergies and dietary restrictions which makes our options for choosing a restaurant limited. More often than not, We end up at Stella's. We had a wonderful time at the restaurant knowing we could enjoy our meal without any concerns. It was an incredibly reassuring to know that everyone's needs were taken care of. For our appetizers, We ordered the Wagyu Beef Carpaccio and the house-made Focaccia bread with all of the house-made butter spreads - I highly recommend trying the Umami Butter! We even bought a to-go container of the butter to take home. Our waitress, Kim, was attentive and kept the food and drinks coming while giving us our space to enjoy our conversations. Anna, one of their managers, offered us some fantastic cocktail and wine pairing recommendations that were perfectly matched with our meals. For my meal, I had the Steak and Ancient Grain Bowl, which is my go-to. The vegetables in the dish vary depending on what’s in season, and I appreciate seeing how the staff changes the dish with each variation. Meanwhile, the rest of our group ordered the Duroc Heritage Pork Chop, three Brasserie Steak Frites, and Sweet Potato and Leek Soup with gluten-free bread. Everything was delicious. I will continue to recommend it to anyone who is looking for a fantastic dining experience with great service.
