Love this place!

We thought we'd ck out your restaurant today. We found a table for 2 that still needed to be cleaned. 3 wattresses, 1 tending bar, and a costumed Easter Bunny. Not 1 person said welcome, or I'll be right with you, or offered a smile in our direction. We left after 15 minutes. Not 1 person said anything as we left. Sad. We went over to Brody's, where we always feel welcome.

Absolutely love this cute eatery! Great food, nice country style ambiance and great service. Yet, they have an interesting 4% credit surcharge even when u pay cash.

Took my family here for breakfast about six months ago on a weekend morning and we did not have a good experience. We were a group of five and a few moments after walking in, the man behind the bar didn’t greet us with a welcome, he just asked us to wait outside and so we did. As we waited outside, we looked around and saw that there were plenty of tables that could accommodate us but we didn’t think much of it and figured maybe a host was going to seat us in a few moments. That didn’t happen. After about three minutes of awkwardly waiting outside, an older couple arrives and look at us confused as to why we’re waiting outside of the establishment. After another thirty seconds, a server comes up to us with a confused look on her face and says we could sit anywhere we’d like and that we didn’t have to wait outside. My group and I looked at each other confused as to why that man intentionally made us wait outside for no reason when he could have easily told us to go find a table and sit down. It all felt so unnecessary and we felt singled out. As soon as we walked in, I told the server that her team needed to get on the same page because we were specifically told to wait outside. We really should have took it as a sign to leave at that point but we tried to forget about it and just enjoy breakfast. The food was mediocre at best. I had the “world famous” biscuits and gravy and there was nothing world famous about it. Our server was nice but other than that, the experience was bad. Will we ever go back? No. The man knew that we were pretty confused and upset about unnecessarily having us wait outside. Instead of trying to mend the situation and briefly apologize for the miscommunication or whatever he could of used as an excuse, he preferred to walk around and ask his regulars how they were doing and refused to acknowledge our table and our existence. Save your coins and spend your money elsewhere.

My first experience with this restaurant, I am a huge fan now. The biscuits and gravy were to die for. Easily shareable. I can't wait to go back for lunch/dinner/drinks

It was my first time at Steele. Had a blast with the music. The food was delicious. The reservations made were beyond my expectations. Had a wonderful time!!
