Steak 'n Shake

Came through at 9:30, got about halfway home and they told me if I could make it back by 10:00 (9:56 to be specific) they would remake it. Got told on the speaker that they would; gave them the toppings, and let us sit in the drive through for 20 minutes. The man in front of us also had an order, and got charged, yet did not get his food. We are still both here (10:20 PM). They were audibly over the speaker complaining, talking about how they did not want to remake it. Very unprofessional, will not be coming back again. Just left (10:44) they took the made wrong food, and locked and shut the window and left and walked out the restaurant. So we got no food and paid for it.

Tried to charge me $36 for a burger meal and two chicken strip meals!! Went right across the street to what a burger and got everything plus some for $28 … used to come here bc it was cheap and food was DECENT… not that decent though!!!

You can tell it's older building but it's very modern

Didn't get any food. No one to take your order and it's take out only. Kiosk is how you order, and you can't tailor your burgers to your liking. You get what's offered, or you don't get anything. I know help is hard to find, but this type of restaurant just needs to close. If you can't offer full service and wait on the patrons. Just get out.

Seems like me to me please restaurants don't really want to cater to customers anymore they want to put a kiosk up and have you place your order so they don't even have to talk to you except for letting you know when your food is ready that's really poor customer service I think or I guess everything is going to AI here before long we'll have so I guess it means we won't be talking to any humans anymore it'll be robots and to me I think that's just kind of a crock to run a business that you can't get out here and run a business the way it should be to get your clientele and keep your customers happy of buying your product or service what is this world coming to need to be thinking about that
