Steak 'n Shake

Employees were outstanding! Store was very clean, bathrooms were warm and clean, and the food was delicious!!

Brought out my food on a platter with someone else's food. Realized when that person said it was not all his. He took his food they walked to the back turned around and brought same platter out with my food and called my name. So now two meals on a platter and my food was exposed to someone else. Health violation.

Took my kids into the resturaunt for some food this past weekend. When I say the place was filthy.. that is an understatement. The grill where burgers are cooked were horrendous had I not just paid $45 for our food I would have left. When the food came out it looked great. My burger was okay, but after I saw the grill I couldn't stomach the whole thing. Love steak N shake but I will not be back to this location.

No more waitresses. Order and pay from a machine. It kills the dining out experience. No fun

This new ordering system is totally flawed! If you don't scan your receipts you don't get food or drinks. But no one tells you this. You basically wait on yourself and I was helping other customers with this new "no customer service" system. My burger came out with onions, she took it back and they scraped the toppings (including the cheese I paid 60 cents for) and brought it back out, by then the fries were cold. Customers were walking out even though they had paid for food. Employees were working frantically but it was awful. Used to love it there, won't ever go back.

So dirty,1 person working the dining room, do it all yourself except cook

Absolutely ridiculous!! Placed a order online at 4:30 pm for pickup at 6:00pm I get here and they just kept claim my food wasn’t ready even at 6:40pm employee was completely disrespectful refused to do anything just said ‘ call and speak to a manager ‘ I called twice and they neglected to answer. My food was also cold as ice!! Ridiculous wouldn’t recommend coming here to anyone.

Steak 'n shakes just not the same anymore. Self-serve to order. No counter staff. They do still bring your food out. But no wait staff.

Personally, we didn't care for the new process of ordering from a kiosk and scanning your receipt for a drink. No customer service, in essence.
