Steak 'n Shake

PLEASE BEWARE OF THE FOOD SERVED!!! Went in to get food for my family, checked the bag and noticed one burger was off, so I went inside to let them know this, but I didn’t say I Paid for it, and asked for the burger. I just said I didn’t get a burger I asked for b/c I knew I was gonna pay is why I had my card in hand. This dude told me to go outside and get my food, so he could check my receipt I’m like..huh?!.. so whatever, (I didn’t even have an attitude about it) I went outside to retrieve the food w/ card in hand, this the funny part. He thought I was “trying to steal” b/c he misheard what I had told him. And.. he knew what burger I had asked for, b/c he spoke of the order so again.. I'm like whatever. I pay on the kiosk, and wait for it. This same dumb@@@ makes a burger in FRONT of me, and cooks it, then stacks the burgers and slide it down the line to be finished preparing. I also hear whispering why, is she standing there?, I ignored it, and wait for my paid food. I’m thinking this prepared burger getting made is mine, but then.. the unthinkable happens this big girl who took my order in drive thru walked from the back w/ a bag in hand Bagged up, hands it to me and walks away. Now.. I would’ve questioned why this happened, her coming from the back w/ a burger already made in a bag and I haven’t seen NOONE COOK!! clearly I wasn’t thinking, it was a long day and all I wanted was my food. So we get home and it was on my mind to tell my husband who’s burger it was to Pray over his food. (That’s the LORD)so.. Halfway through eating his food, he noticed IT WAS RAW!!! ‍♀️ all these emotions inside, all I could do was call and report it. After explaining what happened, I also informed them that if my husband comes up sick, (his words)we know why.. yes his stomach was upset and he was in the toilet the next morning SICK FROM eating Raw food. Thanks to you Steak n Shake, we won’t be returning. NOPE. Never.(unless it’s in the afternoon where the ppl are much better service to me) but.. then, I’ll have to rethink it and Pray about it. But as far as we are concerned KEEP YOUR RAW BURGERS OVER THERE. I have pictures to prove it

I was shocked by how I was treated Tuesday evening but after seeing so many 1* reviews, it all makes sense now. My frustration is that everyone wants money but nobody wants to actually work. I put in 25 hours the first two days this week when I don't have to because I'm a salaried employee but when I go to have dinner and spend my hard earned money a human being will not even take my order. This joint had 8 - yes 8! - employees in the restaurant and the smart a$$ ASM informed that if I wanted food I could use the kiosk to order but he was NOT doing it. Though stunned, I asked to confirm he did not want my business to which he said "not my problem if you don't want to use the kiosk". To which I replied, "I will not do your job for you and you are a jacka$$ for behaving this way". Love my SnS in GA but this dump is off my list for Clarksville TN options. What a shame that people and companies no longer care whether you visit their establishment. Welcome to 2024!

Ordered two combo meals today and the man in the drive through asked me if I'd like my meal medium or large knowing I would assume those were my only options to choose from so they could upcharge me…..apparently the combos come with a small… I get to the window and they ask if I want my receipt after I pay, and like many others I would typically say no to that but today I said yes and was amused to see an extra 60 cent up charge per meal. When I questioned the reason I was met with rudeness by the assistant manager as I tried to express my concerns and was told they could not refund me but would offer sauces that I didn't want or need instead…after cutting me off by shutting the window in my face the second manager came, she was actually pleasant and explained she couldn't do a refund because she was new and didn't have the ability to. I questioned the methods they are using and asked if it was a tactic to secretly try and upcharge people and she said yes and that it's also a way for them to save on overhead or something crazy… I informed her that its very deceitful and finally just accepted the sauces and left but I will never eat there again and to anyone reading this make sure you get your receipts!!!

Man this place is going downhill. They stopped carrying jalapeños and stopped using real strawberries years ago. They used to mix the shake flavors for you upon request, now they refuse to. Smh what happened to this place. I don't go often, but man has it been disappointing the last few times

This place has seriously gone down hill since 2019. No more breakfast, they've gutted their regular menu, and prices are doubled and you get a limited refill and you have to scan a QR code to activate the fountain. I hate the future. Next time you find yourself thinking you want steak n shake, save yourself the trouble and go to Freddy's lol
