I ordered a strawberry milkshake. Enjoyed the environment as no one else was there. They did forget my ranch and proceeded to review my order to prove I did order ranch, but other than that I had fun.
First time in a long time that I went to a Steak and Shake and saw no servers, but I did receive my order very fast, and the milkshake was outstandingly delicious. The efficiency of the self-service system was impressive. It made the whole dining experience convenient and hassle-free. I was able to customize my burger exactly the way I wanted, with all the toppings and condiments of my choice. The restaurant had clear instructions and a user-friendly interface, making it easy for me to navigate through the ordering process.
Regular steak and shake. Service was “remote”. Nobody greets you; they bring the food but are not really that friendly. What was new was the soda “scanning” requirement. I dont know what are they trying to accomplish or why do they do that. If you want to access the fountain soda machine you have to scan a paper by the machine and then fill it out. I think they limited my refills. I scanned it and the second time i went for soda it stopped giving me soda when i was trying to slowly fill it up. It did not allow me to do it a third time. Very disappointing! Why have a stupid system like that? I prefer you charge extra for refills. I have a feeling they are trying to automate to minimize personnel. Ridiculous system. The quality of the food is what you expect from this place. I like their fries though.

I was very impressed and hadn't been to a Steak n Shake in years. The food was great and the milkshake was amazing!! Will definitely be coming back
