Great pizza, hat's off to the new owners keeping it the same recipes

Arrived at 9:20 PM Saturday 3/23/24 and was told to leave because they were closed. Sign said 10 and so did Google.

Update 3/19/24: New owners for like the third time now, and I'm so disappointed that they are not open during lunch as well as dinner for each day they are open. This is the best pizza ON the island so having more hours open would be a huge plus! Original post: So excited to have found some great pizza! The pizza is excellent, fresh, and the toppings are plentiful, and tasty! The staff is very kind. We can't wait to try other items on the menu, too, but you'll not want to leave without getting the pizza.

Not once, not twice, not 3 times, but four times they got our order wrong. Each time it was a different person answering the phone. I explained to them that they have been getting our order wrong and I made them repeat it back to me over the telephone. They still get it wrong. No excuse, they think it’s funny when you go to pick it up, it’s not funny at all it’s just plain rude.

Staffing is horrible, waited 15 min. to get waited on. The waitress had an attitude and was being rude to some customers. Pizza was beef and mushroom. Had maybe 2 mushrooms. Won't be back to the Ormond location. We have been going to Stavros for 20 yrs and have always loved it. This is the first time trying since they sold out and is very disappointibg

My husband and I have been coming here for years and have always enjoyed the food and service. But we went this week for dinner and were totally disappointed. It started out good with the server who was very personable. We were served and as we were eating, one guy behind the counter started talking and used the ‘F’ word several times. The other employees behind the counter just laughed. The server did not come back to see if we needed anything so I had to go up front and ask for water and we were the only ones in the restaurant! The pizza was subpar, nothing baked in. Very disappointing. Never going back.

We have always eaten at Stavros. But today was horrible, at best. Got home after 12 hours of work going to get my pizza and it was wrong , very wrong. As well as the steak and cheese I had asked for grilled onions they were raw and for some reason they put Rob peppers on it when I called and complained as I should, I was told OK sorry will you have a good night then. So here we are 20 minutes later and we find out there are new owners. Very sad we will never eat there again.

Great food, but today when we ordered the Greek salad, it didn't have feta cheese ... it had shredded mozzarella instead. It was still pretty good. The calzones are excellent!! Our server was fast and very friendly. I highly recommend this place.
