Great lunch spot for a client lunch because it is quiet enough to talk. Service is excellent and the food was great. The Gulf Catch was one of the best fish dishes I have had. The hushpuppies were fantastic as well.
Pretty space, no doubt. Ordered a seafood tower and you would have thought it was the end of the night the way the raw bar sent out the saddest tower that looked tossed together. The hushpuppies were hardly warm and every female server and hostess looked like they rolled out of bed. It was 6 PM on a Sunday, I understand the simple/ homely look but all the guys were clean shaven and looking sharp while these women didn't seem to brush their hair. I was on a date and wish my boyfriend hadn't spent his money there. We won't be back which is a bummer because we do like oysters.
Great date night place, you should make reservations if you want a table. Otherwise the bar and oyster bar is open. It is pricey, but the food is good, and staff is very attentive.
5 star service with underwhelming food (for the price) ending in food poisoning. We went here for our monthly anniversary dinner. The server was very kind and attentive. Also very knowledgeable and helpful with the menu. I appreciate the attention to detail with dietary restrictions. The greens salad was ok. The Octopus appetizer was one of the best I’ve had! Probably better than what I’ve had in Spain! However, this was the only shining star. I tried 3 of the raw oysters, which tasted absolutely delicious with nice sea salt flavor. However, this caused me severe food poisoning where I had to spend a few days in bed (close to a toilet) to recover. My husband didn’t have any oysters so he was fine. I ordered the redfish which was overcooked and had a sauce that was way too heavy for something as delicate as redfish. It was a huge disappointment especially for something that cost over $50. My husband ordered the medium rare filet which was good, but was it $70+ good? No. We’ve had much better filets for half the price at other restaurants. The tenderness and flavorful ness were lacking. It was pretty disappointing, so much that I didn’t take more than one bite of his filet. The $11 wild rice side dish was supposed to be shareable, but it really was only enough for one person. Aside from that, the flavor was underwhelming. Would we come back? No, 1 good dish is not sufficient.
It’s a dark place to eat dinner. I don’t like the food.
