State Fare Kitchen & Bar

Y'all, these BISCUITS! The food at State Fare is creative, fun & so full of flavor! The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of, were the hashbrowns. I prefer hashies to be crispy, these weren't. But the BISCUITS made me forget those hashbrowns so fast, hahaha! My Pops & I loved it! Everything was exceptional, from the food to the staff to the atmosphere...just not the hashies. Parking can be a bit of a challenge during brunch, so I recommend the parking garage or valet. GREAT SPOT!

My go to spot for great lunch or dinner (or brunch). Comfort food elevated. Don't miss the grilled cheese with short rib, huge pancakes, dill pickle dip with house made bbq chips or hands down the best Texas chili Update: been awhile since I've visited and it's all still outstanding. The birria grilled cheese is delicious and biscuits on weekends can't be beat

I had the pleasure of having lunch at this location with a friend of mine. She recommended I try it since I had not been here before. The food was delicious with more than enough to share. It was hot and cooked just right. They even make accommodations for you. The drinks were great too. I will be returning.

This is a go to place when I visit Houston. I come just for the hushpuppies but always enjoy everything else. Tonight we were served by Reginald and he was fantastic. Great personality and provided us excellent service!! Can’t wait until my next visit!!!! Thank you Reginald!!

Beauty place, we had a great waiter, and the food was delicious.. We just stopped in for some drink and appetizers and it did it for us, and the margarita flight was a winner! Will be back to try entrées
