Located on the second floor of Penn bookstore. Friendly staff.
The high prices are a deterrent. The parking is fair. I'm not a fan.
Clean, good friendly service, convenient.
Pretty bad for Starbucks standards. Their drinks & food always seem to be late. It makes sense that they are constantly busy because they are on the corner of two universities. But then their store and regional managers should hire more staff and reformat the store to improve speed. When I was in last Friday morning, they only had 4 people on staff. But there were at least 10-15 people waiting for drinks. The Starbucks in Fairmont always seems to have 5-6 people on staff and they get like 80% of the business. It's just mental in there and the Starbucks corporation should support their workers.
There were flies and bugs in the food section and nobody cared about it:(
This Starbucks location quickly became a weekly go-to for me and my friends due to its outstanding coffee and impeccable service. One particular employee, Dylan, quickly stood out as a fantastic barista and manager. Chatting with Dylan always brightens my day, and his friendly nature makes our visits all the more enjoyable. However, I recently learned that despite Dylan's excellent work, he is being paid significantly less than his fellow manager. This type of unfair treatment of such a vital employee is simply unacceptable. It is extremely disappointing to see that this Starbucks location isn’t compensating its employees fairly. As a concerned customer, I implore Starbucks to take action. Dylan's contributions to this location are invaluable and this discrepancy in pay is disheartening to witness. I hope that this review will encourage Starbucks to address this issue.
