I was initially excited about the new Starbucks opening in town and have visited it three times. However, my experiences have been consistently disappointing due to the manager's attitude and the overall service quality. During each visit, I encountered the manager, who consistently exhibited a snappy and condescending demeanor. Whether my order was incorrect on the first visit, or her tone was outright rude and dismissive on subsequent visits, her approach was off-putting. This behavior wasn’t isolated to my interactions alone; I observed similar treatment towards other customers, often accompanied by patronizing terms of endearment. Contrastingly, the team at the other Starbucks location in town exemplifies excellent customer service. They are kind, engaging, and make an effort to personalize each customer’s experience, such as remembering names and offering welcoming smiles. This level of care significantly enhances the customer experience. Moreover, the beverage quality at the new store has been subpar, and on one occasion, I received a drink with a sticky cup, which was inconvenient, especially while driving. I believe that with better training and a focus on customer service excellence, the new Starbucks has the potential to meet the high standards set by its counterpart. Until I hear of improvements, I regret to say that I will not be returning.
