Starbucks

I go to Starbucks quite a lot throughout downtown and in terms of service, this one is one of the best and most consistent!

Afternoon Expresso was fine. Staff fine. Everything expected, so A-OK. The location is adjacent to the Hampton Inn, Home 2 Suites. The only way to access is by foot, no drive-thru. Parking: Hotel valet or paid garage best options

The atmosphere is great, White Chocolate Mocha is warm for this kind of weather in the winter, there are good dedicated employees there, one of them I know take pride in their work ethic.

Overpriced, maybe one of these days I will treat myself to a cup of their coffee.

As an RSNA attendee I’ve been to this Starbucks about 10 times over the years. It’s never been good but today was the worst. I would characterize staff as rude AND incompetent. It’s like their parents never taught them any manners. And they rarely have a dark roast being brewed. I am very very sorry I left a tip. Unfortunately you have to tip before you actually receive their service. I certainly would not make the mistake of leaving a tip at this place should I ever be desperate enough to return for more punishment.

Bad service

We stopped at Starbucks on E. Cermak Rd. yesterday morning for drink and breakfast before our long road trip back home and our server, Courtney, was super helpful and kind to start our morning.
