After doing a bad online delivery for this one person with my friend's mom she offered me to take me somewhere to eat asking saying if I would choose a cheap place to get something to eat that would be great. So I chose Starbucks as a cheap place to get a latte instead of something to eat so it would be cheaper for her, even though the Starbucks lattes where still extremely expensive, but it's colorado. We went in the Starbucks and walked over to wait for our turn. Once it was our turn the lady greeted us and when my friend's mom told me I was going to order she then stared at me in a way that made me feel so uncomfortable almost like she wanted me to feel that way to her pleasure and then when I got some courage, although feeling very bizarred out, to tell her what I wanted she then spoke the list too fast like she expected for me to understand what she was saying and like she wanted to give me a hard time as well. I didn't tolerate that very disrespectful attitude so I took the initiative to tell her to repeat what she said in a slower way but she seemed very hesitant to do it and I had to speak the list with her in a slow manner like I had to be her authority figure with my friend's mom so she would repeat to me what she told me and she was still hesitant to repeat what she said slowly. When she did we thanked her, which we really shouldn't have, and walked away to wait for the latte until I bumped into this one fat man with an extremely horrible attitude and from what my friend's mom said looked at me like what the F was wrong with me and when I apologized to him for bumping in to him he ignored me and proceeded to go off on the same cashier who gave me a hard time. I knew the guy had a massive problem and I really hated at the time how he behaved in the most disrespectful way I have seen out of the day from so many other people but I am kind of glad the cashier got her karma because she needed to learn something about respect, but while me and my friend's mom were chatting a bit later another barista looked at my latte almost like she was disgusted to serve it while she slipped on the box cut-out coffee holders and called out for my latte and name and then when I went to get my coffee at one of the desks I thanked her for the latte but it was almost like she didn't even want to respond to me to any extent. Me and my friend's mom walked off kind of dissatisfied about the service. One very important part of business that they need to learn is RESPECT. It is very disappointing that the baristas have come off more mean-spirited than professional. I don't know what their problem is but they need to stop with the disrespect. I am surprised that they think that type of behavior is completely acceptable because this was definitely not the first time they have been very disrespectful in such a mean-spirited way. They have a lot to learn in this world if they think that is the way to live their work lives. It will not get them a far way in life and it would be extremely pitiful to see them carry that same mindset to their future careers. I'm not defending them and their behavior, this is coming from what many employers expect from any employee. They need to turn their behaviors around very quickly if this is how they treat other customers. Absolutely unacceptable

They hired a lot of new people recently and nearly all of them need better training. I avoid this location now and regret coming here today. The drive thru lane was long so I ordered ahead in the app to avoid mistakes with my order (which are now commonplace here), the woman was noticeably upset that I had an online order and quite frankly it didn’t make sense because my order would have been the same whether I ordered through the speaker or the App. Lilly is exceptional. The guy in glasses is exceptional, but most others I’ve interacted with recently have led me to prefer the other locations in town. Also I’m an ex Barista, I know how important a friendly demeanor and personality is for customer facing jobs.
