I was n given the wrong appetizer and provided drinks after my food arrived despite ordering beforehand. My vegetable entree was literally $5 bag of steamed vegetables for $15. None of the food was available as vegan unless it was overpriced vegetables. Service was kind of nice, although there was a bit of a language barrier. Mandatory 15% tip. Would not come back.
Good food but I got double charged. My friend and I split the bill - they charged me the entire bill but then still charged my friend half. Reached out over 4 months ago via the contact form on the website and never got a response. Which is why I won’t be back although I used to like to go there.
Excellent food, prompt service, will be coming here again. If anyone is curious, the spicy items on the menu are NOT spicy at all, so even if you like just a little heat, order something with the spice indicator! Dietary restrictions: Wide variety of GF options
Loved their menu. So many Thai places have such similar menus, but this one had plenty of unique dishes I'd never seen before. I got the Singapore noodles with shrimp and squid. This dish was made in a curry sauce, and I unfortunately can't have garlic or onion, but they were very accommodating and made the dish without those ingredients. It was still so good even without those key ingredients! They also include the tip in your bill- I appreciate it just because I think it shows that the restaurant really takes care of their staff. Sometimes people don't tip, but this ensures their employees are taken care of. As they should be, as they were all great!
Le Pad Thaï était extrêmement fade… le poulet aux Cajoux était bon. Le saumon était bien
Star of Siam Restaurant has been here for ages and is a well known Thai food standby by both locals and area employers (catering). We started with Gyo Tod (fried wontons) which were unique as you usually don’t see shrimp wontons on Thai menus! They were served with in-house made plum sauce and were generously filled. Very good delicious starter to dinner. We ordered Pad Ruam Mit (mixed vegetables) with chicken although you can have tofu or other meat choices. Also, Panang Nue (beef curry) which didn’t disappoint. Huge amount of beef in the rich flavorful curry! Both dishes offered generous amounts of tender meat and vibrant flavors. Notables: 1. If you like your dish spicy hot then you need to tell the server or you’ll get your dish served flat tasting (in my opinion). 2. Jasmin rice is extra and doesn’t come with your meal but the food was really good quality and generously portioned so it wasn’t a big deal. Restaurant was clean, service was excellent and friendly. Tables and booths are very roomy.
Super horrible, I’m assuming these are all bots writing good reviews. Service wasn’t too bad but the old lady was weird AF AND the food was pretty bad, especially for the price. On top of that they add a FIFTEEN percent tip all on their own to the bill… like what?! Like it’s written all over the restaurant that the tip is mandatory smh I don’t mind the tip as much as I mind the food sucking which makes the entire experience worthless. I ordered pad Thai and red curry, came out to be 60+ with the tip. I wouldn’t go again and not suggesting it to anyone either. There’s another spot not far called silver spoon, good vibes too and great curry’s
