the best donuts in the bay area! i come here often but i always noticed that one specific lady here always gives me a look and never greets me or says thank you. she always say it to other customers before me but i just don’t know why she can’t say it to me. i feel a bit uncomfortable about this it feels like im being discriminated against. bit rude service.

This place is considered to be the best donut place around town by many. In fact, during one of the wildfire seasons when everyone was advised to stay indoors because of the unhealthy air quality, I still saw a line of people waiting diligently outside with the red skies and visible ash in the air at 5:40am. That's dedication. Btw 6am is a pretty late opening time for a doughnut shop around here. If you come early and get a freshly made, piping hot glazed donut, it makes a big difference. After it's been sitting for awhile, it is not as fluffy and the solidified sugar glaze tastes a little too sweet. I have bought these donuts for folks who thought everything was too sweet but the donut itself was super fresh. I personally think they are fine as I know the sweetness of a Krispy Kreme. I love their banana buttermilk donut because I like banana desserts in general. They have different flavors for different days. The blueberry buttermilk is splendid too! The cake donut is a lot better than most ones I've had. The old-fashioned and cruller are good but not amazing. They also have some donuts of impressive size. The apple fritter and cinnamon twist are very filling. The custard-filled donuts they have only on Mondays and Tuesdays. For the rest of the week, they have creme-filled ones. Everytime I come, I always see one new type of donut I have missed (but usually a very similar variant). They have bar seating but no bathrooms for customers.
