Excellent service, lovely and clean atmosphere, lots of great options on the menu.
**this was a busy after afternoon on Easter Sunday. Thought I'd preface this review with that** Our family frequents Glenwood's (formerly Stanford Grill) 3-4 times a year for the past 5 years or so. The service and food is always great, hence why we keep coming. I think there was a breakdown in communication on how many people were in our party. Our reservation (Made days in advance) was for 5 people including 1 toddler so I'm not sure how we got seated at a 4 person MAX booth. I arrived with my toddler 10 minutes late, the waiter didn't introduce himself to me, okay fine. After 1-2 trips including taking our order, he had to see me holding my 3 year old on my lap waiting for a child seat. SAID NOTHING. On the 3rd trip I asked him for a child seat and he said they can't because "it would block the aisle" Didn't even think twice about it....didn't bother to ask a manager for alternate accommodations. There was also a woman in a wheel chair in the aisle further down. Not saying my able-bodied toddler deserves the same service as an honorary Senior, but the occupied space of a wheel chair and child seat is the same. Again, it was a busy Easter Sunday around 1:30 and I arrived late. Only reason I'm typing this is because we've actually have been accommodated with seat in the aisle at this exact restaurant before with approval. All good.
Dietary restrictions: They accommodated beautifully our gluten-free restrictions. We enjoyed spicy tuna roll, roasted brussel sprouts, hickory-smoked tenderloin, filet mignon, coffee and ice cream sundaes.
Steak and prime rib were not good. waitress not around for service.
Great food, great service, and outdoor seating when the weather cooperates.
