We had a delicious dinner at this place! The Shrimp cajun pasta and New Orleans gumbo were full of flavors, and we also enjoyed peel-and-eat shrimp but the cup and bowl of gumbo are almost identical so order extra if u want more . Regardless everything else was fantastic.

The food was good, but the service was lousy. Nobody came to our table for at least 30 minutes while my boyfriend had an empty glass. We were there for happy hour but never got our free drink. Ordered a side of french fries, which never came. Won’t be back, for that price I expect better service.

Do not miss this lovely waterfront restaurant! Sarah and her team were lovely. They gave us good advice on our food choices, which we thoroughly enjoyed! My Asian salad with grouper was excellent. Perfectly prepared with a lovely presentation! My husband had the grouper sandwich with sweet potatoes fries. Our appetizer was conch fritters, with a sweet hot sauce dip. We like to use the car train in Sanford and this restaurant is near the car train. It is on Lake Monroe which has amazing natural springs ( Gemini springs and Green springs that flow into the lake) that flow into the lake. My wife and I dined here for the first time while we are wintering in Florida. I ordered the stuffed grouper, and my wife ordered the blackened grouper. The food was absolutely fantastic, and our server was great! We will definitely be back!

First and last time. Kids grilled cheese was burnt, salmon sandwich was burnt, poboy (shrimp) was so dry, they don’t sauce the bun and barley out any in the shrimp. The bread crunched and crumbled as it was so dry. Our server disappeared hallways through the meal. Last time we saw him was him entering the men’s restroom with a plate full of food. Manager, Amber, was good and brought our kid extra oranges when we pointed out the burnt kids grilled cheese. Overall, not a great experience, especially for the price. Thank you Amber for attempting to make it better.
