Please note that approximately 2 months ago this chippy was taken over by a new owner, who untouchably likes to cut corners ..... The first and most important point is that they now cook in “palm oil” instead of the traditional “beef dripping” – this is very noticeable, and allowed for me going out of my way to this shop. Secondly they have taken various Chippy staples off the menu ie. spam fritters – burgers / patties and chicken breast. The rude scouse fish fryer said it was a cost cutting exercise as they were open all day from 11am? My advice is give it a swerve and goto Raffles Chippy who still cooks in “beef dripping”

Best in Blackpool, this was old review it's been taken over and please believe me it's now the worst in Blackpool, also clever girl never put the lids on the Peas and gravy, Neither the man or the girl could say hello or goodbye, joke!

Attention to management absolutely ridiculous crispy chips and sausage is ok I would be greatful if you can take this into consideration I will be visiting again to see the manager to have this out

Scallops was over cooked and so were chips and asked for a large bag of chips and got given a small bag

COMMON SENSES PREVAIL ! Order x 3 fish and chips....... ask for chips to be wrapped all in one wrap as I'm intending to plate it up at home. Assistant doesn't know how to do that! She proceeds to use a metal office stapler to staple together..... imagine if that had ended up in the food and choked someone! LOUD BLEEPS coming from the smoke alarm, the battery is dead and 2 industrial hot deep fat fryers on the go !!! There is a premier shop next door.......it sells batteries!!! Neither member of staff wearing aprons or head / hair covers. Food DIRE ! What has happened this place in the past few months!
