No frills, good ol fashion steakhouse. Sides were great too (I liked the mash), would recommend splitting a tomahawk if you have enough people.

Schönes und passendes Ambiente. Die Steaks waren traumhaft lecker ! Preis ist natürlich auch ordentlich allerdings für New York Verhältnisse noch fair.

I loved having dinner here. Great ambiance. What a comfortable warm and cozy space. Unpretentious, really good quality food. Love the open kitchen and the staff seems very relaxed which is good but don’t expect to have the most attentive service. Food comes out at a good pace and it was delicious. No notes. Great wine list, i had a chianti ill post below. Soooo good. Wow. Get the affogato for dessert it is delicious!!

Medium-rare steak was good, but medium - hard to eat, mashed potatoes was over salted, and the spinach had no salt at all, was ok

EXTREMELY mediocre, it was $50 for the meal and a very chewy, mediocre steak. I don't know what is considered a good value there but I was incredibly unimpressed, the steak I had which the "Butcher's Steak" which was awful and absolutely not worth the price. I had some fingerling potatoes which were also terrible, just potatoes dunked in butter. Absolutely not worth the price or the visit, I came out of that after spending $50 still hungry and wishing I'd spent my money elsewhere.
