Not the same vibe as it used to be. Went tonight for a few pizzas with family. It's like the customers are an inconvenience to the staff. Seat yourself now, not greeted, sat a few minutes before we were provided menus. The lady dropped two drink menus and one dinner then said I will be back and walked off. A few minutes later we were ready to order. Cokes are a can only for $2.95, no cup with ice, just a can. No soda fountain anymore. I kindly asked for a cup and ice which seemed to be an annoyance to the busy staff. Pizzas were made and sat on the bar before bringing them over to customers hot and fresh. Two of the three pies were really good. The Benny Blanco had cheese on half of the pizza, no rosemary or lemon. The other half was dough. Really disappointed it's gone down hill like this. I guess we will stick to Eastern wharf in the event we decide to return to a Squirrel's location. Edited review so photos are from a previous visit 4 years ago.
The photo attached was the fungi pizza with bacon (very few pieces) and cauliflower crust (added$4.75)…honestly, this is a snack for one person that costs $27. It took a long while for anyone to take our order and the glasses were incredibly dirty with lip marks around the rim and finger/hand prints around the glasses. If you have more money than sense and want a unique atmosphere with squirrels on the wall, go for it.
The best squirrels pizza and service I've ever had since I've been in Savannah. Also grace is a great bartender!
Barely a personal pan for $18?!
Could have been better. The wait on the pizza is super long.
The sauce on the pizza was very good and the price was reasonable. Fun decor and comfortable seating,
Took a while to get our food we waited a while
Just had the fra' diavo pizza. So great! Not too spicy.little kick! They have a wood fire oven .Great with a beer. Great whiskey selection.
We ordered 10 pizzas for a large party. They were all great. I only wish we would have ordered 20 instead of 10. They all got eaten so quickly I didn't even have time to take any photos. Vegetarian and vegan friendly, so there's something for everyone. We're Chicagoans so the standards are high, this place knows what they're doing.
Was ok . 50 $ pizza had 4 slices 18$ Wont go back
