Spuntino Wine Bar & Italian Tapas

Delicious food and excellent service. I really liked the Truffled Artichoke Hearts and the Italian Long Peppers.

I had a bad dining experience here many years ago which involved waiting more than an hour while having a reservation and being served freezer burned gelato. the whole experience was incredibly mediocre and i have avoided the restaurant since. however, i recently moved back to the area and decided to give it a second chance. I came for an early dinner where the dining room was about half full. i had the fig based drink which was fine. i found the brussel sprouts ordered as a side to be tough to eat, as though they had not been roasted enough. the cheese on top had also congealed as though it was not freshly shaved on but from a bag of supermarket cheese. the portion size of my entree was large, but the taste was overall bland. my service was good, but i did find the entire experience to be cold, which is how i would describe the restaurant. devoid of personality in a sense. i won’t be returning.

Good food but nothing special. Overpriced for small portions. Polenta fries were excellent.
