Food: Menu changes often so do not get attached to anything… sad there was not gnocchi. However, the truffle pasta of the day cheered me up. Smelled and tasted delicious. I would also recommend the buratta focaccia. (It was small for $10 and hardly enough for 2 people to share which was mildly disappointing.) The flavor however was the best focaccia I have ever had the pleasure of tasting… so no fault there. Mixed drink was tasty thanks to a skillful recommendation from the waiter. Service: I was happy we had enough time to finish each course before moving onto the next one. Perfect timing. Fresh plates each time. Server was very attentive and knowledgeable (sometimes used a few too many words). Atmosphere: Loud. Hip industrial vibes. Tables were too close together, so I could hear people on both sides of me. Chairs/ booths are moderately comfortable. Vegetarian options: Veggie options not labeled but there were a few solid choices!

Amazing neighborhood restaurant. We love ordering all the appetizers for dinner and spacing them out. We love sitting at the bar and talking with the bartenders. The elk tartare I dream about!

Excellent food and staff. I recommend the 36 layer lasagna and elk tartare.

The service was brilliant. Our server was patient, but checked in regularly. She explained every item on the menu to us, and even got our mum a complimentary birthday truffle. The bread was other worldly, as was the cheese. The risotto balls were filled with cheese and delicious. All of the pasta was cooked perfectly. The pasta special of the day was great, and had a solid kick to it, and the tomato sauce was fresh and robust. They should have it on their regular menu! The pasta with the pesto sauce was tremendous. Everything was very well seasoned. The crab cake pasta, and the past with South Indian seasoning didn’t make sense to us. I am from India, and the pasta with South Indian seasoning tasted something they would serve us in our dorms back in India, and that’s not a compliment. Moreover, it made me sick overnight. Another member in our party fell sick. It’s been years since food has made me sick, so that was thoroughly disappointing. Finally the gelato, although homemade, tasted like it was all flavored using vanilla syrup which gave it an artificially sweet flavor.

Spuntino never misses. The menu is always fantastic from top to bottom and the wine list is superb.

First off - Ari needs a medal for quality of service. The hospitality alone that Ari provided is the reason I was moved to write a review. 11/10 from ambiance, service, and food. I frequent high end dining on the regular and this was by far one of the most memorable to date. Time went fast and slow. Sipping wine, eating, and chatting for hours. Similar to experiences I’ve had in Europe. Making you appreciate good food and even better company. Ambiance - gives the feeling of a quaint neighborhood Italian spot with dim lighting and the sounds of laughter and a busy open kitchen . Not super huge place so the tables are pretty close together but I kinda liked that. V European vibes. Food - I’ve been in Denver for 10 years watching the food scene grow from glorified bar food to various forms of American fusion. It’s definitely getting better but definitely doesn’t match the quality of taste and variety I get in Austin, Seattle, LA or New York. BUT the chef here really wowed me with the Italian/Indian fusion. I didn’t expect that going into it. Later to find that the chef was on the founding team for Zahav and is of Indian decent explained all the flavor that went into the menu. Bravo. Eat and drink everything. It’s worth it. Service - Again… Ari is the reason I decided to write this. I had forgotten how much your server plays in your overall dining experience. Ari was bright, charismatic, knowledgable, attentive, knows when to banter and when to just fill the wine glass. Ari went out of the way to provide a level of service that made our celebration stop time and be present in a special moment. We basically just ordered everything that was recommended and I have zero regrets. Trust in Ari. It made the food and drink taste even better. Ugh - appreciate you Ari.
