Spring Restaurant

We always have the best experience at Spring. Tonight was no exception. The food is amazing, beautiful presentation and wonderful flavors. Service was above and beyond. Spring is one of our favorite restaurants in the Atlanta area. We can’t wait to go back again.

Lovely spot for an outstanding dinner!

Our experience at Spring was good, but not great. The space is pretty cramped, and we didn’t feel the price is justified. My husband and I went recently for a birthday dinner, the two of us got an appetizer, a salad, and two entrees, and between that and the bread we left feeling satisfied. I knew the appetizer and salad wouldn’t be enough to share, but weren’t interested in each getting a $15 appetizer and $18 salad on top of our $50 entrees and a drink a piece. The food was good, but nothing that we won’t forget. We were really hoping this was a dining experience we had been missing out on, but we’re still on the hunt for our favorite boujee restaurant to frequent around Atlanta.

With my foodie sister in town, we decided on Spring, as it comes highly touted. We both walked away with the same sentiment. The food is good, but not quite at the incredible level as surely not commensurate with the pricing. It has been a year between eating here and this review. It took me this long to reconcile what I wanted to say. The scene is sort of stodgy and dark. But, I don't care about the atmosphere. The food is my singular goal. The service was outstanding . We started with the fried oysters. Very nice delicate presentation. Next up was the carpaccio which sang a sweet song and was definitely the stand out. My sister had grouper and I the lobster. I lobster garganelli was very well prepared. Really delicious. The grouper was rather uninspiring. With such a great piece of fish, you don't have to do much. There was just too much going on to muddle the taste. They have a very nice wine list, but top heavy in price. Our choice was exceptional. The key for me for any good restaurant is whether I would want to return. That's what held my review up. I was in the fence. After one go, I am not sure I would go back. It's expensive and good, but not outstanding.

Got a last minute, late reservation for 4. It was my friend’s birthday - almost came here without him when I saw reservations open, but he really wanted to try this place out with us. We ordered and ate pretty much everything on menu. All 3 main course were nicely divided up and plated separately for each of us. The tables were wiped down after every plate was finished and removed, paired with a clean set of utensils for the next course. Truly exceptional service. The food was also a highlight to the evening - we cleaned off every plate!

I love love Spring Marietta. The food is top notch from appetizer to dessert. We had some great wines with our dinner tonight. The staff is so good! Our favorite is Zak C, so personable also he is a trained sommelier and talks about different wine options. He is so charismatic; he’s our all time favorite. Spring is a fabulous restaurant.

There are not enough stars for this restaurant. Chef Brian and Sommelier Daniel deliver an extraordinary experience time after time. The service here has no match. I enjoy a meal here at least two or three times a year on my birthday, anniversary, or just because I’m worth it. They always exceed expectations. Tonight we enjoyed every dish, but the some highlights were fried shrimp, wagyu picanha, gnocchi,and muscadine lime sorbet. Daniel was also kind enough to recommend a 2013 Terre Rouge California Muscat with my dessert that absolutely made it an amazing experience! Thank You again, We will return soon.

This place is a gem in Marietta. First time there, food and presentation were great. Definitely recommended

"One of Atlanta's very best. Go before inevitable success changes it." That was my review back in 2017. Here in 2024, I'm glad to say that Spring has succumbed to neither success nor COVID and it remains my favorite restaurant in Atlanta. My advice is to return a few times a year as the courses are constantly changing. And definitely go with someone who doesn't mind sharing; you'll want to taste as much of the menu as possible!
