Unbelievable service - great food - clearly a very well run operation and some inventive dishes you won’t find elsewhere. Will be back!

SPQR Restaurant on Fillmore Street offers tasty adventures for any palate. Like many restaurants it does get loud, but my friends and I managed to snag a table in the window which cut down on the noise. The food and wait staff were perfect.

I chose the restaurant for Christmas dinner ( Feast of the Seven Fishes) however, it was disappointing, I left all the dishes half finished, the seasoning was not pleasant, the fish had thorns, the only thing I managed to eat completely was dessert, I paid a higher price precisely to have a different experience but I was frustrated

Worth every penny! Very helpful service by going the extra mile to find a wine that my daughter had there last year.

Good food. Really liked the wagyu. It was very tender and delicious. I would definitely come here again.

The food is pretty good. I went to try their New Year’s Eve menu. The fried potato ball appetizer is pretty good, very aromatic. The winter vegetable dish is good but not in particularly impressive. I love their seafood pasta dish. The homemade pasta has a great chewy texture and the sauce has a nice acidity to it which is appetizing. The seared salmon is good. The skin is very crispy but the fish is too “fishy”. I’d prefer if they could make the sauce to better complement the fish so that it tastes less oily and “fishy”. And they forgot put the salmon roe as promised in the menu. I do enjoy the smoked short rib dish. The smoky flavor is very subtle and savory. There is one pasta dish I couldn’t stand which has an overwhelmingly cheesy flavor. The dessert is superb. It is like a molten lava cake, but much better. The cake has a slightly crumbly crust and a hint of saltiness. Unforggetable!
