This is a great hidden gem in Manchaca. The pizza is very good. Very close to New York style pizza. The owner really cares about his restaurant, and it shows. I will definitely return.
Now the Southside Flying Pizza has just about everything from Pizza Tacos and then some along with a Salad Chicken wings fried pickles.......They also have old school GAMES for the kiddos who go out there to eat with their PARENTS........
Super chill and food was great. It has both Mexican food like tacos as well as pizza. Server was also very friendly.
I live in the area. Mr. Gattis has had a geographical monopoly, holding us hostage to the sorriest pizza ever made. Saw this place and figured, nothing to lose. 16" pepperoni pizza. Thin crust, a ton of cheese, plenty of pepperoni, excellent.
If you haven't you have to. Best pizza place in town.
A PLACE TO BRING YOUR CHILDREN TO PLAY GAMES AND EAT THE BEST PIZZA IN SOUTHSIDE AUSTIN
I wanted so badly to continue loving my childhood staple after radix bought them out. I even spoke with the owner opening week. Sadly Service and food quality nose dived. I have never seen such terribly made pizza or Service from trying to understand what happened and why it was so awful. Their staff insulted me when I said the food was literally inedible. I truly was excited and just heart broken on their new concept and lack of care to keep up quality and vibe they have always had even since it was Cafe 1626 Another Austin fav, is gone.
This place gives Austin a bad name. As for the buffet there were no pizzas because there was zero customers that should have been my first warning. The buffet was overpriced and the sodas were from HEB. When they brought out the pepperoni pizza it only had six pepperonis on the whole pie. The cheese pizza barely had any ingredients on it which was just the cheese in the marinara sauce. The salad bar is nothing like the pictures in the last reviews the lettuce was welted the experienced overall was thumbs down. And as for the large arcade there were only two games
