Southgate Hotel & Tiki Lounge

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.. THE OWNER IS A JOKE AND WILL STEAL MONEY FROM YOU.MANAGEMENT IS A JOKE HER NAME IS HEATHER SHE DOSENT DO HER JOB AND DOES NOT KNOW WHAT SHES DOING. DO NOT PUT A CARD ON FILE SHE WILL TRY AND RUN IT WITH OUT PRIOR AUTHORIZATION.HOUSEKEEPERS DONT EVEN TOUCH THE 2nd FLOOR AND THEY ALLOW THEM TO DO THERE OWN PERSONAL LAUNDRY IN THE HOUSEKEEPING LAUNDRY ROOM WHICH IS NASTY. 227 HAS MOLD IN THE TOLIET AND THE HOUSEKEEPERS ARE ALOUD TO REFUSE IT WITHOUT ANY CONSEQUENCES. COUPLE OF THE ROOMS HAVE LEAKS WHERE THEY JUST PUT A TRASH CAN UNDER IT TO CATCH THE WATER..nasty.. THEY DONT USE BLEACH NOR DO THEY HAVE ANY CLEANER TO NEVER CLEAN ROOMS.. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL Safety: Horrible

Front desk had idea what I was even talking about. There were people on the 2nd floor being so loud and when I said somthing to front desk he had no idea what I was saying. I was there for almost a month and only had housekeeping one time and when I did have housekeeping it was a mother and daughter who half did stuff I walked into my room with black gunk all over and inside my toliet I took pictures when I asked for housekeeping the older woman had an attitude and never brought me back my stuff i asked for and didn't see either of them for days after. They should really get rid of the management who hired them because no wonder why they don't get business they were so rude and rooms and looked and smelled horrible.. The overall setup of the place looked great, and the rooms initially looked clean upon entering. Though the rooms were freezing. That wouldn't have been a problem that the air was turned off, but we turned it on, and only cold air came out when we clicked heat. We had it as high as it could go, and no warm air came out. We froze all night. There were no extra blankets in the room, and to top it off, we woke up with stiff backs. The mattresses are so old and uncomfortable. Now, let's talk about bringing kids with you. Upon entering, my kids, of course, made some noise. A man heard kids from his room and immediately ran to the door (showing all signs of a pedofile), he started playing games and enticing my kids to come run up and down the halls with him. We got into the room and found some guys underwear and t-shirts in the draws as if someone was still staying there and they found a bug on the floor. The rooms were overall spacious and clean, and I would not have minded the other stuff. we ran into creeps everywhere, but the rooms were freezing, and the bed was so bad we all have painful backs.

Ladies at the Tiki Lounge are ALWAYS amazing people to talk with and so friendly, and make you feel at home! The rooms are clean, but we had no room service the whole time we were there. Guy at the front desk told us he would have room service come and take out our trash and bring us fresh towels, but, nobody came.

Thank you so much for the hospitality I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The staff at front desk guy is really awesome they were really helpful and friendly the kind of services I received is awesome the amities that they are providing is awesome. I would highly recommend for your happy stay.

Me my old man & daughter & son stayed here after driving a good while to come check out a truck to pull our camper but it ended up not working out & it snowed so we stayed here for 2 days to figure out what we was going to do now & hopefully find a truck to pull a fifth wheel. It's a pretty decent spot there's a lot to offer the rooms are pretty decent size & there's a mcdonalds that's literally 100 ft away there's guest laundry ice/vending game room & a lil gym with 2 tred mills & 2 bikes & a TV & scale seasonal pool so if your here on the summer time you can swim there's plenty of rooms & there's a lil nice lounge bar to go relax & play pool if your alone. We enjoyed it you will too also there's WiFi so your connected!! Easy access to the highway. Easy online booking rooms & easy check in the front desk was very welcoming & helpful so Come check in you won't regret it. We enjoyed it I'm sure you will too!! Nearby activities: There's gas stations there's all kinds of shopping & restaurants & it's pretty decent hotel you got guest laundry you got a few exercise equipment a seasonal pool so if you visit in the summer you can swim. The rooms got a nice King sized bed a comfy couch a desk & chair a mini fridge microwave coffee maker TV phone for a decent price. Also if your alone there's a nice lil lounge bar with a pool table so it's a great place to stay with either your family or by yourself my family enjoyed it. Walkability: McDonald's is not even a 100 ft away there's a gas station across the street along with a shopping center there's a few around. Walmart is 150 ft away. Food & drinks: McDonald's Denny's Sheetz Gas Station DQ Cracker Barrel & Ruby Tuesday

The worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Filthy dirty. Shower was discussing dirty. Wouldnt even use it. Refrigerator broke. Carpet was dirty. Know one cleaned it before I arrived.

I know this doesn't count, but my lost s necklace that was a Christmas present, never thought it would be found let alone turned in but it was, returned and restored her faith in humanity! Thank you to all that helped make this happen
