DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE!! GOING FOR 30+YRS When you smell that out if the oven fresh sourdough bread all the deli meats are done in-house. Get the carrot cake it's worth it. For me it is best deli sandwich in the bay area hand down! Wheelchair accessibility: You can order and get into the back patio to eat. It's awesome.

Why did we go, now I will need to visit Northern California more often and eat at the Sourdough everytime.

Excellent sandwich shop work a patio you can eat on. Good sandwiches. Cash only. Not a lot of substitutions allowed. The have a dessert case and bottled drinks. Right across from civic center and you can make from the court house if you're on jury duty. Funky shaded patio makes for a nice lunch if you have the time.

Line is usually very long here, but as I got there early, it was a pretty short wait. After seeing the garden area and trying the food, I can see why it is usually busy. Dogs are allowed and cats rome around the garden and let you pet them.

left me on hold for 20 minutes when i tried to order, then hung up on me.

This is the single best sandwich I’ve ever had. Been going here for almost 29 years. And the place is one of a kind. Get a sandwich, sit in the back, enjoy the art. Wonderful sandwich shop. Best in the bay by far.

Love this place. It's a hidden gem in the South Bay. Food is excellent and the paintings are made by the owner for a great atmosphere .
