Food is always amazing customer service is always amazing

So I got the oxtails, yams and macaroni tuna salad and it was delicious. I'm literally writing a review while eating my platter. The oxtail are tender perfectly seasoned, the yams are sweet and you can taste all the flavors from the nutmeg,to the brown sugar and butter. The macaroni tuna salad is moist and seasoned prefect ;but what just takes the the meal to the next level is the Yellow rice and red beans that comes with the oxtails. I didn't know rice could melt in your mouth until I ate from here it is delicious. 10/10 I recommend by far the best soul food in Philly

Food wasn't nasty but I had to add season to my sautéed salmon, small an skinny piece of salmon with ALOT OF RICE... But from what I see they not stingy wit the oxtail platter so I'll give them another try

The food was nasty. The turkey wings were too big and they weren’t tender or super flavorful. I added hot sauce to the turkey wings. I had to pick through it. I’m not even a picky eater. The baked Mac was okay. The collard greens were okay. They need more flavor in the collard greens and maybe some smoked turkey. I’m disappointed because the place I wanted to go down the street wasn’t answering calls. The food looked good but looks can be deceiving.

Food was nasty not seasoned at all tuna salad was just tuna mayo and noodles no jerk on the turkey wings never again

The food here is amazing!! Even a small platter has a lot of food. I can never finish a platter in one sitting. Prices are very reasonable!

I rarely leave reviews but I had to this time. My husband walked in and ordered 2 catfish platters with yams, mac, greens & potato salad. The sides were amazing that’s why I gave 3 stars but the fish was not catfish…it tasted like Swai or old whiting. It was chewy and hard to bite. I called and the young lady told me it had to be catfish because they don’t sell Swai so I said yes you do yall passing it off as catfish. Anyway check yall fish before you leave if you order catfish
