The creamiest and best Mac n cheese I’ve ever had. Brisket was tender and very good. Pulled pork was fine. Very friendly staff. Fine in is at a few picnic tables for now as they build out a restaurant next door.
Best brisket sandwich I’ve eaten. Mac and cheese was also delicious.
This food is outstanding. Best BBQ in the Chicagoland area
Fabulous Thanksgiving meal!
We ordered out so service and atmosphere I can't really rate. We got the pulled pork with original BBQ sauce, macaroni and cheese, collard greens, and sweet potato. The pork was good. Tender and juicy. I enjoyed the sauce. It had a peppery tang to it that was pleasant. The collard greens were just ok. Not as vinegary as I like. The Mac and cheese was good. A creamy white cheese that I liked. The sweet potato was also just fine. It was good BBQ. Not the best but certainly not the worst I've ever had.
Great food. Warehouse atmosphere, attentive service, but way too expensive and serving portions on the small side. Vegetarian options: No options Parking: Street parking only.
Wonderful food. Wonderful honors ...take care of community
Excellent, meaty, tender rib tips. Sauce ison the side, which is a plus in my book. Also worth noting, the pound I ordered did not have a lot of cartilage and gristle. This does not come with bread like it many other places, which is a good thing for me since I am gluten-free (GF). They do not serve french fries, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Instead, they have many different southern sides, such as mac & cheese and sweet potatoes. The staff were exceptionally helpful and cheery. The menu clearly highlights items that are gluten-free for anyone with dietary restrictions. The interior was under construction at the time of writing this review, but they have a handful of picnic bench-style tables so people can eat while their food is fresh. It was also very clean inside despite the remodeling. A big contrast compared to many places I have been to in Chicago’s south and west sides. The only downside was the price for some items. $6 for a side when you are dining alone for lunch or dinner can be a tad steep.
I had a craving for BBQ so I hunted around on GrubHub. I’m in Rogers Park and they’re a bit north in Evanston, but do deliver! And I’m GLAD they do. I got an order of greens and an order of pulled pork. Freakin’ delish.
