Amazing food and atmosphere. Loved the Cacio E Pepe! Definitely one of the best I’ve ever had.
Good to enjoy a nice family dinner.
Deliciously salty cacio e pepe, and a fresh Napoletano pizza - really good tomato sauce. Great service.
We had a great meal and loved the atmosphere with the open kitchen as the center piece of the space. The team took care of us like old friends.
Went here for a date night and was overall pretty disappointed with the experience. The service seemed disorganized - our table wasn't ready on time, we only got one menu, we weren't given a wine list, our waiter seemed really spread thin but she was very nice. The food was the real let down though. The tuna tartare had a weird taste to it that was off-putting, that fishy taste that day old seafood starts to get. The pizza we ordered was almost soggy and relatively bland. Although I'll admit the fettuccine was pretty good. Overall, considering the price point, I would recommend going elsewhere.
Sotto la Luna is a hidden Italian gem in Astoria. Definitely check it out if you're in the area. Open space and cute decor. The food is authentic and delicious. My favorite dish was the seafood couscous risotto, and I was told that they sometimes make it with rice. I'm definitely coming back to try the pizza
Such great hist and decent pasta!
