We picked this place because it was the only one with a table for the time we wanted. What a great surprise! The food, service and ambiance were wonderful. My tuna tartare appetizer was delicious and made perfect. My wife's appetizer was a tasty mélange of shrimps, mussels, octopus and crunchy bread in a red sauce, all of which was outstanding. I had the lamb sausage with Gnocchi for the main and my wife had the spaghetti in clam sauce. Both soooo very good!! We finished up with an affogato and some ice cream. This was a wonderful meal, and the service was helpful and timely. It's a large place with tables nicely spread out. This place is on our "visit again" list. A great find.

Came here for restaurant week with high expectations but the food here was a little underwhelming. The dessert took almost 40 minutes.

Visited Sotto 13 during restaurant week and so glad I did! The branzino and octopus are my top recommendations - branzino perfectly crisped; octopus was some of the most tender and flavorful I’ve had in a while. Additional feedback from my table: “meatballs were good but they’re not my moms meatballs!” “Burrata was especially good with the bread and honey,” “pear salad: a delight!” “beet salad was good but I can only be so excited about beets.” (all looked good) Definitely a place I would bring a group to for a decent meal at a reasonable price.
