Sorrento's Pizza & Italian Restaurant

An absolute gem and treasure. There's really no other way to put it. This level of home cooked food and friendly service is so rare these days that dining here simply made our month. Even calling it "friendly service" doesn't do it justice, I think "dining with family" might explain it better. Truly haven't had a dining experience like this in years. Thank you ladies for welcoming our family and providing such a unique and joyful experience.

This is a hidden gym in North County San Diego. Open for 48 years now, it is the real thing. Rita is great, the food is great, the service is great. It is more like a private kitchen than a resturant. only 5 stars because 6 starts is not available

Absolutely delicious, the portions are great, and the service was excellent. The atmosphere is super homey and comfy. Our server was a joy to be helped by. One very small critique is that the restaurant was a little quiet, some nice background music would be my recommendation. A must visit for sure. We'll definitely be back!

This is it folks. The most perfect garlic bread on earth. There are so many amazing things about this place but that garlic bread is something unforgettable. I’m going to chase that high for the rest of my life. If you’re scrolling reviews for a place to eat, stop now and get in to Sorrento’s immediately. Dietary restrictions: Be prepared to eat like 4000 calories and be happy doing it. Parking: Lots of spots Kid-friendliness: They love the children. This is a family place.

I usually go with my coworkers about once a week or every other week for lunch. The service is always fast. There's usually always people there, but it's never super crowded. We sometimes order food for pickup for the office since we're right around the corner. I've tried their spaghetti, chicken parmesan, pizza, ravioli, chef salad, garlic bread and sauce. They are all very good, but my favorite and go to is the spaghetti lunch special that comes with salad and garlic bread with a side of their sauce for the bread. I LOVE their sauce! It has a sweet taste to it. Their salad is also very good, the vegetables are always so crisp and fresh.

Hole in the wall, diamond in the rough, one of a kind. These ladies have been running things for a long time and have the best sauce you'll ever try. Mix that with their garlic bread that has the perfect amount of crunch, and you're halfway to heaven. If you haven't gone, you are MISSING OUT!
