Today I chose to spend my hard earned $ at Sonic. It was dark. Restaurant sign, menu sign and drive up sign not lit. When I asked if they had a light for their menu sign so I can order. I was told, “If it’s not lit then no.” I had to use my phone flashlight to see the menu board. The person who I was surprise to find out later was the manager on duty. Took my order with a not so friendly tone. I did let her know it sounded like she was irritated. She said no. Then proceeded to take my payment. Failed to give me a receipt. Asked if I wanted condiments and walked away from the window. I could see her joking around with coworkers. Luckily they got the pleasure of a smile. In this economy what many customer service workers fail to recognize is… customer experience is key. Customers have an abundance of choices when it comes to fast food. Very disappointed in my customer experience. I will think twice before coming to this location.
