Song Hak Korean BBQ - San Diego

We were in the mood for some kbbq and went here for dinner tonight. It was empty when we arrived, but picked up while we were dining. We got our usual- bulgolgi, brisket, and the galbi meal (comes with kimchi soup). Service was friendly and quick. Our meats were delicious and server helped us cook as well. The kimchi was particularly good tonight! Too bad I forgot to get the fried rice at the end!

First time having Jajangmyeon and it was delicious! I loved how chewy the noodles were and subtle the black sauce flavor was.

Do you like to eat intestines? This is the go to place for some of the best mouthwatering tasty intestines you will ever find! They specialize in intestines and offer 4 different types: small, large, abomasum and tripe. They do have other cuts of meats as well and they are all very tasteful. But if you love intestines this is the usual go to. Besides bbq they do offer other selection of food: tofu soups, rice dishes, jjajjamyun, and appetizers They are not AYCE. They have different order option and the quality and quantity is very great so! Plz do keep in mind the meat quality is that greater than any AYCE which is why price is a little on the higher end but very well worth it. Every bbq order comes with corn cheese, kimchi stew, side dishes and salad. They do offer a great selection of dipping sauces for your meat don't be afraid to ask. I recommend vinegar on the side for your intestines. Service is always great and fast. They come around and moved around and cook the meat for you which is nice.

As you enter the establishment, their is no one to greet you or help you. You add yourself to the waiting list via tablet stationed just inside the front door. It was quite busy, and the patrons looked happy. The wait time was 40 to 80 minutes. We decided the wait time was too long and sought out other establishments. A few minutes later, we received a text that our table was ready. We hurried over, but to our disappointment, our table was not ready. The female at the register said the table needed to be cleaned. Once that was done, she went ahead and seated another couple. We approached her as to why she gave away the table that was promised to us. She dismissively said they had been waiting before us and walked away. Poorly organized and unapologetic about it. We decided to take our business elsewhere.

The food and service here was great. Came here ordered the 3 meat combo and they brought out so much food that they made it worth the price. I came here specifically for Makchang and it didn't disappoint. Hope I can get to go back again.

Good quality food. What you expect from any and all Korean BBQ spots

Honestly the best Korean BBQ thus far in my list. The place is warm full with many good options to try. I would personally recommend trying their Rice Cake soup, perfect for rainy weather or when you are feeling like you want something warm yet fulfilling. Their portions are pretty big and best enjoyable with friends and family. Employees are very welcoming and happy to have you in their establishment. However, parking space around the area is hard to find so do come prepare for long waiting times in finding a space to park.

This place is soooo good will absolutely be back!! Got the hot pot to share with fried rice after.
