Sombrero Mexican Food

I have been going to Sombreros since high school. There is just something about the hard chicken taco with the hot red sauce and Cali burrito that just completes a trip home for me. It is one of few places that always make “the list”— the places I always go to when I am here. On my most recent trip, I noticed they finally brought back the shredded beef burrito. That item has been off the menu for years, and it was one of my dad’s favourite things to eat. It tasted as good as ever and just as I remembered. They have been consistently good for the past 20 years, and the service has always been really friendly at the locations I’ve been to (Carmel Mtn and Rio San Diego). I just had my hard chicken taco with the hot red sauce fix for dinner tonight…. until next time.

My order was ready when I arrived. Food was hot and delicious. Loved their California Burrito Special.

Had a great experience here. One of my favorite places to go. If you’re looking for genuine Mexican food on the go this is genuinely the perfect place to go. Parking: Very easy parking. Restaurant shares lot with other stores, so it’s a pretty big lot.

They gave us the wrong order plus refund was not provided also the gift card money was not refunded so we had wrong order paid for it plus not good food taste wise
