Solterra Winery & Kitchen

The food was excellent as well as the service. We did a wine tasting and loved all 4 wines plus an additional wine we sampled. Purchased a bottle of all 4 wines.

Fun place, interesting atmosphere with live music and very good food! Would enjoy it more if they didn’t allow dogs in the restaurant, felt like eating in a pet shop.

Enjoyed visiting this winery on December 30th. I was visting from Seattle and stopped by this place for dinner. The atmosphere was great. the bartender was friendly. the food and the wine were of great quality. They slightly overcharged my receipt by $0.95, but mistakes happen, the manager was polite and apologetic about it. I would visit this place again and highly recommend it to any travellers deciding to stop by a small little town called Encinitas in the San Diego area.

I posted a pic of waters and empty plates because that’s pretty much how it was for 20 minutes or so. First I wanna say the busboy (young guy) was awesome. Sadly we were mostly ignored by our waitress. We watched the owner try to guide her to us but it just wasn’t working. We had a few appetizers and tried to give the waitress another chance. That didn’t work out. We were there a total of maybe 35 minutes hoping to order entrees and drinks. We bailed out as soon as we could get a check and went to another restaurant for dinner. Two thumbs down unless your buddies with the waitress

Such a gem. No suprise that everyone knows the wine is great but the FOOD! Great service and Ian makes the experience that much more enjoyable. Be back soon for sure!

Well done tonight for our friends' wedding reception!

We were here for my buddies wedding reception dinner. The food and wine selection were good. Parking across st in dirt. They need more bathrooms though. The look with wine barrels was cool though.

Delicious food and lovely wine! Kristin is a gem of a human - so friendly and kind! Vegetarian options: They have a vegan paella!
