Soltani Restaurant

Have been eating Persian food for decades so not new. Excited to spot this place in central Santa Ana but, unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience. The chicken had the aroma and taste of going bad, the cook mentions one price for side but was charged by the owner a different price and customer service needs improvement since they don't tell you the food is ready and just place it on counter if it's your first time. Otherwise, the rice is good and they do grill the onion and tomato.

I am visiting from Texas and just googled Persian food and I found this place. Very welcoming and nice. Portions are huge and the kabab is amazing.

The food was amazing, the place was spotless, and the gentleman that owned the place was so sweet and kind. Please support this place, the kabobs are ridiculously delicious!!

Not bad, not great.

If you ever had Zereshk polo. Never try this. Zereshk polo MOST come with Zereshk NOT cranberry!!! The chicken for the dish is coming with tomatoes, if you changed the dish why still called Zereshk polo?!!! I am glad that I will never eat that again, giving 1 stars because we don have 0 stars option, you are the cook and the restaurant owner you can cook whatever you want but please don’t change the recipe’s for traditional foods.

This place is a real gem. Delicious food and excellent service. Ordered Soltani, very tender meat, properly grilled (the portions are relatively large). Will definitely come back in my next visit to SoCal!
