Nice place, but a little small. That didn't stop them from making excellent food. Recommend making reservations.

Smallish, popular Italian restaurant. Bruschetta is not to be missed. Spaghetti is tasty. Lasagna is great. This time I tried a steak - really. And it was really, really good. Parking can be sketchy. Stay is just so very helpful and caring. Highly recommended.

The best Italian restaurant in San Mateo! Every time I go they make me feel like I am at home or at my aunts house having a wonderful meal.

I think of Sole as this little quaint hole-in-the wall, which I love. The food is amazing and the wine is great. Service is wonderful. I want to go again and again and again.

Sad they had to take down the backyard eating area, but the people, food and atmosphere are great.
