Loud crowded bar perfect to watch the Sports ball, if you are into that sort of thing. Food was alright,beer was cold

Petit pub irlandais (sur 2 étages). Plusieurs sortes de bières pour y boire, y compris de la Samuel Adams "just the haze" ( bière IPA sans alcool ). Le Irish Coffee était moins bon qu'à Dublin mais bien quand même). Nous avons pris aussi des Pretzel (3) servis chauds et accompagnésd'une sauce au cheddar qui étaient très bons Serveuse efficace Au final, une bonne adresse même si l'addition reste salée

Traditional Irish bar with all the positives you can imagine: warm, cozy, friendly, crowded, fun. Great food, even better drinks. Recommend Allagash White. You should definitely stop by.

Writing a review only because I see management really reads these based on the amount of replies; I think that's super admirable! Last week my husband and I reserved a table to celebrate my birthday. We have been to Solas a handful of times before and it has always been great. This time wasn't bad per se, but we were sat upstairs at a table across from the bar and there was no light source near us; it was so dark I couldn't read the menu, and could barely see my food when it came. I wish I had said something and asked to move, but I get uncomfortable making requests like that and decided to manage. I understand it is a moody, dark bar, but a little candle at the table would have helped, or the dimmers turned up a tiny bit to accommodate the tables without overhead lighting above them. It was nightclub dark. I know this seems minor but it really clouded my experience. Our original server also mysteriously never came back and the bartender waited on us. She was fine, but no personal touches, just short, quick service. She also nearly poured a beer I ordered over ice before I stopped her. Again, the food was fine, but the experience was off.

Amazing food

Great place, we had quite a large group and service was incredible. Food was drinks were good, recommend the clam chowder
