SOL Mexican Cocina

Second visit to SOL in Irvine and we had a lovely time. Food was delicious & atmosphere really great. However, felt rushed to pay the bill. We were given the bill & asked twice while still eating. Parking: SOL validates 1.5hrs of parking.

I am changing this review. This Spanish restaurant is good. You feel good with family comming to this restaurant. We can drive there easy. Lots Good. Breathing and to walk is good. Seat is good. It is high class restaurant. This is food is good. People are thier better self good people in restaurant. How Mexican can do all that? Good people. Good place. Abdull Tarzi

Very good. Loved it first time, brought the whole family to enjoy. Food is great. Service amazing, drinks are very good and no skimming on the alcohol. Facility has several seating options that are great for hosting few parties at the same time. There is full bar that has seating indoor and on patio. Overall very happy. Will be back

Atmosphere is typical Mexican restaurant and lacks a little personality but it is still beautiful, clean and I feel comfortable bringing guests here. Service is perfectly fine and friendly. Food is not exceptional but still good.

What a great experience!!! 5 stars all around from the hostess to our waitress, food, ambiance. Love the look of this restaurant. Cool modern setting. I can’t say enough. Here visiting from out of town and just came based on proximity from our hotel and reviews. It more than exceeded our expectations. The food tasted fresh and beautifully presented. My margarita was perfect too. I can’t remember our waitress’s name but she was fantastic… very attentive. Will definitely come back on our next trip to Irvine.

Do you know how they say people don’t really leave view unless the service or the food is really bad? Well, the service and the food are pretty bad here. It was pretty lively for a Friday night with live music but that’s pretty much all it had going for it. Everything was bland and just meh. Look anywhere else for mediocre Mexican food. Oh, and there’s a 6% service charge added to the bill for good measure. Pass.

The food is good and service also. Ambiance can be so much better if they could dim the lights. It feels like a lunch cafeteria in the evening.
