Sol De Mexico Family Mexican Restaurant

Lilliana was a nice enough server. Came shortly after open with my baby and some friends and got a few drinks and some food. Drinks cost about as much as the food but it was all delicious. I get the feeling this place is a scam however as prices I was charged did not match prices on the menu. Update: I went again this time making sure to double check all the prices. I waited about 15 minutes for my Chile verde in a Pacifico and a bottle, the Pacifico was warm in the chile verde, rice, and beans were all very low quality and obviously microwaved. I have a feeling. The reason it took so long was it didn't want me to know that all they do is microwave Frozen food. I looked at the menu. The price for my food was $9.95, which honestly made sense for the low quality food that I was getting. When I asked for it to go box the waitress walked away and didn't come back with my bill, I had to walk up wave her down from the kitchen to get her to ring me out. When she rang me up, she tried charging me $16 for the chile verde, and $6 for the bottle of Pacifico. I'm glad I checked because I showed her their own menu with the prices that they set. She faint ignorance and said oh the lunch special, let me change that for you and then changed the price of the chili verde to $9.95 but still charged me $6 for the Pacifico. Tl;dr Don't go here Kid-friendliness: Lilliana was nice enough to my baby. That was it.

Ordered a taco salad ($17.) with chicken. The "bowl" that it came in was like a sponge. I'm not sure where all the liquid came from, but it was uneatable. On further inspection of this "salad", there were bones in the chicken. I called the restaurant, and I was basically told it wasn't their fault, it was the delivery service, and to call and complain to them. 1.) I ordered the food from the restaurant, NOT the delivery service. They didn't make the "food", they transported it to me. 2.) The time line in which they said it would be delivered was spot on. There was no delays. To hear the excuse from the restaurant that my food was made "fresh", and to blame someone else for their poor quality is just wrong. We WILL NOT order from this establishment again, and I'll definitely recommend my friends to avoid it as well.

Overall amazing restaurant. Great service and great food!

The Staff is nice and kind. They said hi to my 2 year old daughter and called her princess. The food is always super tasty and lovely. They even gave a second serving of chips while we waited for our order. The flan, delicious. Overall, a very pleasant atmosphere and experience. I'm shocked they don't get more customers. We were the only ones dining during lunch hours. Kid-friendliness: My daughter liked it there and her food. She had grilled ham and cheese and french fries with smiley face tater tots. She was called, "princess," which we thought was cute.

Adorable atmosphere and delicious food. A good variety on the menu, something for everyone. Also fantastic prices and the service is perfect. Awesome salsa too.
