Nobody was at the shop even the hours listed say they open at 4 PM. I hung out until 445 and nothing. They did not have many flavors left either. I do not plan on coming back.
bought 3 macarons and 2 were inedible because they were extremely stale
The gelato is good but they’re always closed. They have such bad hours.
13 dollars for a small coffee and a small hot chocolate, both of which tasted like the instant packets I have at home. There was literally a Costco carrot cake cupcake in the display going for 8 dollars. Abysmal prices for cheap food.
Bit torn. The stuff is good. But the prices approach yowza levels. $4/macaroon. $9 for a medium ice cream. Perhaps my expectations have been skewed by community places like Bonnie Brae, but part of me thinks when i stop in with the kid for a small sweet bite, $22 is a lot.... those are meal prices.
I went here before work this morning specifically for a cold brew gelato shake I have had from this location at least 5 or so times before because it is so good. The girl working there told me they were not actually allowed to sell coffee because there is a coffee shop on the other side of the court so she wouldn’t make one. Tell me how that is true when from the ordering point, I can literally see all the coffee beans, espresso machine, and half of the menu consists of coffee drinks? And I have had this drink served to me before. Was too annoyed to argue with her, I figured she either didn’t know how to make it or just didn’t want to. Very disappointed being lied to like that. I’ll keep going to Junction because everything else is good, but that is as so lame I won’t go back to this gelato stand again.
This Gelato is so delicious, the creaminess and the flavor just blows your taste buds away. Every time we want a fancy treat we come here. Sorry, I ate the ice cream before I thought about taking a picture. Yup it's that good.
Super small portion like a half scoop per scoop, poor service with no prices labeled. Touched everything with bare hands including naked cone and picked up sample spoon by the spoon not the handle without gloves, a napkin, anything protecting the food or washing hands between handling money.
