I’ve got a baby (7 month old) and the staff at Soi 4 was so incredibly kind and friendly. The food was excellent.
Was sat at a table for happy hour. Spent $60 on drinks and appetizers and was asked to leave as soon as we were finished despite there being only three tables occupied. For some reason they wanted to seat the next group at our table. We had just finished our food. That just seemed beyond rude
Came here to celebrate my marriage after city hall. We were 15 ppl and got a table upstairs. It was the perfect location for such a celebration. Food and service were great, drinks too. Overall it was a great setting. Quiet enough to enjoy the company but also good vibes.
An innovative menu of Thai food that's flavorful and satisfying. The main room is rather small and easily gets crowded and noisy. I was a little annoyed because their menu items are large and pricey, especially the appetizers, which makes it hard for a single person to eat there. And they absolutely refused to do a half order for me.
Ok, you may have never heard of ‘Kanom pak gard’ or turnip cakes, and you may not even know what a turnip is or maybe you do and are sure you don't like them, but I am telling you: try this appetizer. It is really good. The rest of the menu you can stick to the Thai food you know and love and it will be great too, but try this one thing you're not sure about and you won't be disappointed.
Amazing place, superb and friendly staff
I have found my new favorite Thai place in Oakland. Soi 4 delivers for food, wine and cocktails along with great ambience, music and style. Prices are very fair and portions generous - oh, the service is great too!
My favorite Thai restaurant in Bay Area! The mix seafood curry and grape salad are my favorite dishes, highly recommended!
We frequently visit Soi 4 as we live close by. We’ve tried a lot of things on their menu and love their food and selection, but more so all the staff is very kind and always welcoming. Certainly worth a visit!
