I was looking for something similar to fresh kitchen but closer to home. Tried this and loved it! I got a coupon and tried a teriyaki salmon bowl. I’m spoiled now. Didn’t like the chicken as much but would still recommend it!
My favorite “fast” food. I frequent SoFresh because there’s something for everyone without compromising quality of ingredients and diets, and it’s always ready in 15 minutes or less. But tonight especially (1.4.24 at 8pm), that was the BEST meal we’ve had from there so far. Loved it so much we called to pay compliments to the cook/preparer, and now writing this review. Haha I hope management sees this and recognizes its staff.
Overall, not a good food experience, but a fine customer experience. The food was plain, small portions and worst of all - gave myself and the other person in my party a very bad stomach ache! I don’t plan on going back and it’s not worth the risk of not feeling good.
Food was great! Definitely coming back.
I was so impressed with this place! I opted for the teriyaki bowl. I am usually the girl that eats half of my meal and saves the rest for later but not with this! Fair prices as well! There is mainly street parking right outside but there is a parking lot around the corner that’s not too far to walk.
I order a custom-made warm bowl. The beef was extremely overcooked, and burned on top of it. All veggies were stale and the sweet potatoes crunchy like barely steamed, and you should cook it all the way through tho. They used to be good, idk what is happening.
When this location first opened, it was good. The last 3 times I’ve gone, I have been disappointed. My stir fry bowl was so dry I could hardly swallow it (even with the sauce). The second time it tasted like a rotten sweet potato in my comfort bowl and today- my Signature salad that is supposed to come with a dressing- didn’t have it. I love having this healthy option so close to home but I think some changes need to be made before I will go back. Today- out the door- I paid $17.00 (included a 15% tip) for one dry Signature Salad with Chicken. Not worth it.
Fresh ingredients, but my California bowl was a tasteless experience, although I added the usual vinaigrette. The staff was very friendly and nice and the location seemed modern and airy, but when walking to our table our shoes were making noises dye to the sticky floors. My rating of 3 stars is probably too generous as I usually tend to give generous ratings.
I’m new to the area and was excited to try this place because I’m a huge fan of salad places like this. I created my own salad and saw that they had several dressings and sauces to choose from. I asked the employee ringing me up if I could please try the avocado crème before adding it to my order and he said “no, that’s not something SoFresh does”….what? I would have loved to try it but because I didn’t know if I’d like it or not I decided to choose a basic balsamic dressing. Because you’re not allowed to try their dressings I guess you just have to pray that you’ll like it since it’s too inconvenient to put a tiny bit in a plastic cup for the customer to try. I might understand this poor customer service choice if it was crowded, but I was the only customer in there. The salad itself was also a disappointment. The avocado was not fresh and the tomatoes weren’t good quality either. Not worth the price so I won’t be returning.
